What is the difference between our massage package, physio package, chiro package and boots package?

Massage R320 per 30 min – Kimon Comodikes

The massage package is for calming tired and sore muscles so that they can rest and recover quickly before the next big day. A daily massage will keep the machine well-oiled and moving.

Physio R420 per 30 min – Claire Fuller

The physio is for those who have on-going or current niggles and who need area specific treatment to keep the machine moving.

Chiro R350 per 20 min – Matthew Levine

The chiro will be used to ensure no pain in the neck/back/hips and to provide free movement of knees, shoulders, elbows and ankles. Chiro adjustments can increase flexibility and muscular output so will be beneficial for riders towards the middle/closing stages of the race.

Recovery Boots R150 per 30 min – Meg Earl

Recovery boots are large boot-like devices that cover most of the leg… They flush out the toxins that build up during strenuous exercise and help the body return healthy, oxygenated blood back to the legs

So, in a nutshell, the massage is about prevention and flushing muscles out, the physio is about the treatment of those aches pains and any on-going issues you might have, the chiro will sort out your joints and the boots will flush out the bad toxins in your legs

All are awesome…. if you take a massage package and during the event, you have niggles they will try make a plan to get you into the physio or chiro.

Free yoga and myofascial stretching will be available throughout the event with Charlotte our Yoga and Stretching guru.

Free yoga and myofascial stretching will be available throughout the event with Charlotte, our Yoga and Stretching, guru. It is well documented that Yoga/stretching is awesome for riding. Read here.

We will have two FREE yoga/stretch session each afternoon at 3pm with Charlotte Johnson. This will be free of charge for all riders.  You can email Charlotte for more information.
