NOTE: There will not be a shuttle from OR Tambo to the Kingsmead College – the registration venue. Riders are encouraged to use the Gautrain or private operators. This is due to there being multiple arrival times and because we feel the Gautrain is the simplest option.
BIKE BOXES: Empty bike boxes/empty bag can be handed in at registration or at the start and will be transported down to Scottburgh. Your bike box/empty bag will be at the finish on the beach. Please DO NOT leave any valuables in your bike box/empty bag!! People catching the shuttle to King Shaka airport can load bike boxes on the truck which will travel with to the airport.
BIKE INSURANCE: Mutual and Federal will be giving all South African free bike insurance. For international riders, we recommend you take out bike insurance for the event – this way you are covered in case your bike breaks, is stolen or damaged. This is up to you. We cannot be held liable for loss or theft of your bike if in transit or not in the bike park.
