Supporter information
Watching from the side can be hard
We know you couldn’t complete this race without the support of family and friends, so we are doing our best to make the event more supporter friendly. However, due to the size of our villages supporter space in our main marquee is very limited so make sure you get in early.
Supporters have two options:
1. Camper van option
Riders can hire a camper van and supporters can join them. Please note that all supporters MUST book a camper van package, which includes a supporter package, and allows access to the race village and its facilities as well as 3 meals a day. For more information, see the camper van section.
The cost of this package is R5500 incl VAT
2. The B&B option
Supporters have the option of booking into B&B’s along the route. There is a full list of accommodation options to choose from. We suggest you book early as space is limited in some towns. In addition, supporters can book a Supporter’s package which allows access to the race village and its facilities as well as 3 meals a day.
The cost of this package is R3500
Please note that only riders may sleep in the rider tents.
